Cloning Items
Have discovered you need more than one of something? How about lots? This is the guide for you!
Red/Blue
You'll need Pokemon with Surf and Fly. Fly to Viridian City. Talk to the old man and say "No". Then, put the item you want to copy in the 6th slot of your bag. FLY to Cinnabar Island. Go to the left and SURF on the sandbar. You'll see wild Pokemon at lv100+, and some glitch Pokemon called "Missingno." and"'M". When you see one, just run away. Then, check your items bag. Gold/Silver/Crystal
All you need are 2 Pokemon and an empty box on the PC. Make sure Box 6 is empty, too. Give the item in question to a Pokemon. Then, deposit it in the empty box, but DO NOT put it in Box 6!!! Then, switch to Box 6. When it says, "SAVING... DO NOT TURN OFF THE POWER", turn it off. Wait for about 3 seconds and turn it on again. You should now have one Pokemon in your party and one in the box. Experimentation is left to the user.
Emerald
This is similar to the Crystal version trick, only it's easier. But, you have to have beaten the main part of the game. Get the Pokemon you want to clone (We'll call this "Clone") and another, differentPokemon (We'll call this "Holder") in your party. Go to the Battle Frontier. Go to the Battle Tower. Then go in front of the computer. Put Clone in a box by itself, and save the game. Then, take Clone out. Go to the lady nearest to the computer. She'll ask you if you want to challenge. Pick "Challenge". Then, pick "Open Level". Pick two Pokemon at random. She'll ask you if you want to save. Say yes. Now, it'll freeze a second, and then the normal save prompt will appear. Say NO. Then, press Start+Select+A+B, and the game will reset. Go back to the computer and check your box and party. You can do this with up to 5 Pokemon at a time.
